An excerpt from the puppet theatre that was performed by the Reading Rainbow members during the annual reading program on April 22, 2007. Age group of the performers is 8 - 9 years. The length of this story has been reduced for easy viewing. The puppets used here were made by the the young memebers of the centre under the guidance of Mr Abhijit Kothari.

Mother Goose

Reading Rainbow animated Mother Goose rhymes. At time of this event the age of most of these children was 5yrs. The girl enacting the role of Mother Goose was 8 years old. Now they all are between 9 - 13 years.

SMARTEST GIANT

The Smartest Giant in Town is a popular book. Its script was modified to make it suitable to be performed by 7- 8 yr old RR kids, as a puppet show. It was performed as part of a reading program that Reading Rainbow conducted at the British Library, Ahmedabad on April 25, 2004.

Muriel Bloch at Reading Rainbow
